Natural health edit \\ Autumn 2024

Embracing the changing season.

Autumn 2024:

1. WelleCo The Evening Elixir, $55 (150 g).

I notice a marked difference in sleep onset and sleep quality after sipping this soothing blend. The nourishing formula contains antioxidant-rich cacao powder and acerola cherry, pomegranate and shiitake mushroom extracts to support both skin and immune health, along with magnesium, lemon balm, passionflower and lavender for nervous system support. I enjoy mine with warmed milk - a natural source of tryptophan, which the body converts to both serotonin (the “happy hormone”) and melatonin (the hormone that regulates the natural sleep-wake cycle) - and a teaspoon of marine collagen for a nutritious - and truly delicious - evening ritual. Available here.

2. Vintner’s Daughter Active Botanical Serum [pictured], $315 (30 mL).

Formulated with 100 per cent natural ingredients via a unique 21-day extraction and infusion process, the Active Botanical Serum - which in fact is closer in texture to an oil - is a wonderful skin support to combat feelings of dryness, devitalisation and sensitivity that occur with the changing season. Sourced from a beautifully considered array of natural botanicals, the serum is rich in essential fatty acids and phytonutrients and its natural fragrance - by virtue of its constituent actives - leaves me feeling grounded and calm after use. True luxury. Available here.

3. Vahy Ember Haze Candle, $90 (280 g).

To me, Vahy represents modern luxury, redefined. Produced without compromise, Vahy candles are hand-poured in Melbourne using soy wax and sustainably sourced natural fragrances of the highest quality. The Ember Haze fragrance has been a beautiful addition to my living space - its beautifully rich smokiness, combined with the warmth of amber and vanilla, lingers in a way that isn’t overpowering. Available here.
